Through a multi-faceted approach, it is possible to support the body so it can go back to its original state of health. Nowadays we have to deal with so many stressors: the food that we eat is not like it used to be. The pace of life forces us to go at a speed our bodies just don't like. We can go back to that essence that makes us feel good, calm, energized, free of anxiety or physical symptoms. It all starts with the food that we eat and our lifestyle. By making simples changes we can achieve the vibrancy we most want. It's time to reclaim our power and start making positive changes to our bodies. What is Holistic Nutrition?

The philosophy of Holistic Nutrition is that one’s health is an expression of the complex interplay between the physical and chemical, mental and emotional, as well as spiritual and environmental aspects of one’s life and being. As such, professionals who are trained in holistic nutrition approach health and healing from a whole-person perspective. Using nutritional education as a primary tool, holistic nutrition professionals emphasize the building of health by approaching each person as a unique individual. This requires fully engaging the individual in their health recovery process and honoring their innate wisdom by working in an empowering and cooperative manner to chart a course to optimal health.

Changing behaviors

As a Health Coach I become a partner in an individual's behavioral change process. This process involves supporting the client as they set goals, encouraging the development of sustainable healthy behaviors and attitudes. I work with clients who feel the need to change their diet and lifestyle in order to improve their health and get rid of inflammation, feel more energized, lose weight in a natural way, improve their children's menu so they can grow with the right nutrition support, and so on. Through the most up-to-date nutrition science, I provide them with the tools they need to achieve their goals.
My approach is always to guide them to a better lifestyle using the power of nutrition through the consumption of whole foods and incorporating movement and stress management tools so they can experience more vitality but also inner peace.  Managing health issues are not always easy.  Besides helping clients put into practice diet and lifestyle recommendations prescribed by their doctors, I provide important educating on anti-inflammatory foods and lifestyle interventions that will improve their symptoms. As a recovered chronic pain sufferer, I can help my clients with the education and tools they need to relieve chronic pain. Last but not least, if you happen to have a gluten intolerance you are in the right place. Having a gluten-sensitivity myself, I am equiped with all the information necessary for clients transitioning to a gluten-free diet, providing them with the right guidance, recipes and meal plans so they can more easily adapt to the new lifestyle. Note that nutrition advice is a complement of medical care, so you should never stop seeing your physician and following his or her advice.

About Viviane Cooper

Years ago I was faced with health issues and that motivated me to search for answers outside the traditional medicine model, which offered limited help at the time. By researching about diet and lifestyle changes and applying these concepts in my life, I took my health to a higher level. At some point I felt I could help others live better by teaching them what I had learned. That was when I decided to become a Certified Health Coach and Holistic Nutrition Consultant. By knowing that body and mind are interconnected I decided to add the Bach Flower Therapy into my practice with amazing results. Expert Guidance

I will carry out a detailed evaluation of your diet and lifestyle, in order to pinpoint the areas of your life that need improvement. During the session I will give you feedback on the evaluation, gather some additional info and we will work together to set goals that will benefit your overall health and tailor goals to specific areas you want to improve.  During the session I will provide you with all you need, from recipes to tips on how to make your daily meal plans, how to fit new positive eating habits into your life, how to incorporate more movement and manage stress. Together we will come up with a plan so you can incorporate the changes you want for your life. You can choose the Lifestyle Package or the Lifestyle Tool Kit. Bach Flower Therapy

Healing the mind

Bach Flower therapy is a simple, safe and effective natural system of healing, developed by Dr. Edward Bach, who was an English physician, bacteriologist and immunologist. His intuition, love of nature and compassion for his patients inspired the discovery of specific flower essences in the 1930’s. The remedies are made out of watered-down extracts from the flowers of wild plants and provide relief from a number of emotional states like depression, anger, fear, sadness and so forth. There are 38 flower essences, each one targeting a specific behavior or emotional state. They have been used all over the world as an alternative therapy and for some to avoid the use of heavy drugs that have so many side effects. Because they are so diluted, they can be used by children and even pets. They have no side effects.

Cooking classes

Cooking with whole foods

If you feel like you need motivation, ideas and someone guiding you in order to cook healthy meals, this class is a good start. I will cook one or two healthy meals. During the class I will talk about the nutrients from the ingredients being used and their relevance for a healthy body (cancer prevention, detoxification, blood sugar management, and so on). I will also give tips on cooking methods and different ways you can prepare the dish according to your family needs. I focus on healthy but easy to make dishes, so even a busy parent can make them in a tight schedule.

Lifestyle Toolkit 

A three-month-program with a comprehensive approach

First Month

Nutrition, Digestion and Movement

Be ready do dive deep into the world of nutritious foods. During the first month, we will focus on eating healthy, not only to prepare you for lifelong healthy eating habits, but to clean up what is no longer serving your body. By optimizing nutrition and digestion, and by adding a little more movement into your life, you will soon start to notice better skin, leaner body, more energy and decreased inflammation.

Second Month

Stress Management and Sleep

We all experience stress in our daily lives, but there are tools that will help you deal with daily stressors with more ease. During the second month, we will work on the emotional aspect of healing the body. Through stress management techniques, we will address stress by calming the nervous system. Bach Flower Therapy may also be used as a powerful tool for addressing emotional imblances. Sleep quality is another aspect that we will address and work on things that you can do to improve it.

Third Month

Rediscover Yourself

During our third session, we will redefine success and happiness, work on discovering your unique gifts and abilities and improving relashionsips, social interaction and life pursuits.

The Wellness Clinic is intended to help those in need of support for issues such as weight loss to prevent health problems, education on anti-inflammatory foods to alleviate chronic pain, guidance on gluten-free foods and recipes when medically diagnosed with celiac disease or a gluten sensitivity, among others.
